Common Questions

What are your protocols for COVID-19?

Currently I am offering telehealth/teletherapy sessions to all clients. For clients, whose situations require in-person sessions, I am following all CDC and DORA (Colorado State Regulatory Board) requirements re safety and disinfection. My room has a sliding glass door that opens; and sanitizer is provided if you do have your own. I have a COVID-19 waiver for you to sign before coming into the suite.

What does Contemplative Psychotherapy mean?

Contemplative Psychotherapy is broadly defined as an approach that draws from Western mindfulness-based psychotherapies and Buddhist psychological perspectives. In mainstream psychotherapy, one might compare it to Relational-based, Mindfulness-based and/or Attachment Theory styles. A fundamental view in this style of treatment is that mental health is intrinsic and unconditional.

What forms of payment do you accept?

I accept cash, check, PayPal, HSA cards, Visa and Mastercard.

Do you accept insurance?

I am currently a provider in the CIGNA Behavioral Health, INC’s (also known as Evernorth) network.

Can I bring along my child(ren)?

In the case of individual psychotherapy, please make arrangements for your child(ren) to be taken care of while in session. These sessions are designed to afford you the opportunity to be the focus of support and care.

Can I bring along my pet?

Sometimes clients have requested that their furry loved-ones be in session with them. Please talk with me before bringing in your pet so we can talk about the effects of having her/him in session.
